This program explores the cultural and practical applications of purchasing and selling a tax practice. The discussion includes determining a firm’s culture and if the potential acquiring firm's culture is a good fit for the clients. Options for the seller's role, should the seller choose to stay, are also reviewed. We look at practical questions to ask to determine the business’s health and discuss tips for merging the firms.
